1. non-infectious pneumonia显然对应"非感染性肺炎"，在SinoMed中检索“非传染性肺炎”将不会得到任何结果，检索"非感染性肺炎"可查得如《依维莫司致非感染性肺炎文献分析》对应的英文名即为Literature analysis of non-infectious pneumonia induced by Everolimus，显然，“非感染性肺炎”的对应英译为non-infectious pneumonia。
2. If you search '"Pneumonitis"[全部字段]' in SinoMed, no one would call 'Pneumonitis' as 非感染性肺炎. Take an example, Influencing factors of pneumonitis in the period of thoracic radiotherapy combined with immunotherapy was translated from 《胸部放疗联合免疫治疗时代肺炎发生的影响因素》。
3. In DORLAND's MEDICAL DICTIONARY, 33rd edition, pneumonitis is discribled as inflammation of the lungs, See also pneumonia. And pneumonia is discribled as inflammation of the lungs with consolidation. 非感染性 was not been written into the defination of pneumonitis. What's more, in DORLAND's, alcoholic pneumonia, 非感染性, was not written into "alcoholic pneumonitis"

Hello, I've checked English Wikipedia again.
Their definition is "Pneumonitis describes general inflammation of lung tissue.[1]".
However, in Chinese, 發腫/發炎 usually considered as tissues or organs infected by bacteria, fungi or viruses. Translated it to 肺炎 is not so appropriate.
Translated to 肺部炎症（非感染性） is also not appropriate, per your third point.
What about “肺炎徵象”? Will this be better? No, according to English Wikipedia, this is something more likely a disease, not a sign or symptom. -‎Lemonaka‎ 2024年3月9日 (六) 00:45 (UTC)

Pneumonitis is distinguished from pneumonia on the basis of causation as well as its manifestation. Pneumonia can be described as pneumonitis combined with consolidation and exudation of lung tissue due to infection with microorganisms.

@Heihaheihaha：虽然“非感染性肺炎”不是非常常用的定义，但定义会模糊化吗？“肺部炎症（非感染性）”与此有重要区别吗，“非感染性的肺炎”或者“非感染所致肺炎”我认为基本同义，命名常规要求简明。“非感染性肺炎”也并非没有专业医学使用，除了上文来源，也有如儿童社区获得性肺炎管理指南(2013修订)(上)“本指南不涉及吸人性、过敏性、尿毒症性等非感染性肺炎”。又或者“肺炎 指肺部實質發炎，可因感染或非感染因素造成”，那么条目也能有“肺部實質發炎（非感染因素）”[5][6]等称呼。“肺炎”可指感染所致的肺炎，也可指类似的炎症表现。倾向简明的称呼，其他要素在序言中阐明。--YFdyh000（留言） 2024年3月11日 (一) 16:35 (UTC)

pneumonitis是肺炎疾病潜在问题的一个征象,不特指一种疾病,只是"肺炎"的一个通俗名称,即肺组织炎症的一般性术语 既然名词委和学界都没有明确翻译，就不要把它升格为术语。命名常规要求简明固然美好，准确性或许更重要。

但学术文章显然有用该中文词汇概括性称呼这一类疾病，换成别的中文称呼没有显著的更准确。序言和“（英语：Pneumonitis）”需要调整。英文条目第一句介绍了Pneumonitis单词，但之后的介绍，尤其是第三段，是只介绍Pneumonitis的一部分，即非生物感染的部分，中文条目主题也是如此，不能拘泥于所有的“Pneumonitis”，不要预期英文用Pneumonitis称呼非感染性的肺炎。除非，是将英文条目定性为介绍所有的含感染的炎症，其维基数据、信息框和章节的原因（Causes）有此表现，Classification也部分提到细菌，但感染性肺炎放在了单独条目。要将中文条目改写成“肺部发炎/肺部炎症”吗，提及肺炎、略带介绍非感染性肺炎？--YFdyh000（留言） 2024年3月11日 (一) 17:33 (UTC)

 吐槽：我在中文文献中查过“非感染性肺炎”，有几篇文献将其译为“non-infectious pneumonia”，当然我觉得这可能也不是一个很好的对应，non-infectious pneumonia这个词不在mesh词表中，英文文献中也很少有这么用的。就Pneumonitis这个词本身，它几乎不单独使用，前面常跟着一个限定词，名词委也不单独解释这个词本身……

就英维这个条目而言，它似乎侧重于描述Pneumonitis和pneumonia词义上的差别（感觉有点词典），另外，您提及的en:Pneumonia中的阐述

FYI，肺炎#致病原因中：「肺炎（英語：Pneumonia）有時會更廣泛地用於所有的肺部發炎，比如起因於自體免疫疾病、化學灼傷、藥物反應等非感染因素，然而這種發炎應稱為非感染性肺炎（英語：Pneumonitis）（中譯亦簡稱肺炎）」，肺炎可分作感染性肺炎與非感染性肺炎，其中non-infectious pneumonia應是筆誤，正確的是Non-Infectious Pneumonitis。 Willy1018（留言） 2024年3月20日 (三) 04:13 (UTC)
