小文森特·伦纳德·普赖斯（英语：Vincent Leonard Price Jr. ，1911年5月27日—1993年10月25日）是一名美国演员，虽然也出演其他种类的影片，但主要以他在恐怖片中扮演的角色为人铭记。他一生出演了超过100部电影，名列好莱坞星光大道[1]。其时常主演改编自爱伦·坡之作品，如《陷阱与钟摆 》（1961）、《乌鸦》（1963）、《利吉亚之墓》（1964）、《长方形箱子》（1969）等。
他也是一名艺术收藏家，曾撰写艺术史类书籍。东洛杉矶学院的文森特·普赖斯美术馆就是以他的名字命名的。此外，他还是一名美食家[2]，曾出版过数本美食介绍书及食谱。[3]
生平
[编辑]小文森特·伦纳德·普赖斯出生于密苏里州圣路易斯，是美国糖果公司（National Candy Company）总裁文森特·伦纳德·普赖斯和玛格丽特·科布（Marguerite Cobb）的幺子[4]，祖父文森特·克拉伦斯·普赖斯（Vincent Clarence Price）曾发明过“普赖斯博士发酵粉”（Dr. Price's Baking Powder），赚了不少钱[5]。
他曾在圣路易斯日间学校（St. Louis Country Day School）和米尔福德学院读书[6]。后来就读耶鲁大学，主修英语文学，辅修艺术史，1933年毕业[7]。期间他曾为耶鲁大学的校内杂志《The Yale Record》工作[8]。教过一年书后，他就读科陶德艺术学院，他本来打算学习美术，但最后选择了戏剧，1934年就登台演出，1935年在水星剧院正式出道。[9]
1936年，他在劳伦斯·豪斯曼的剧作《维多利亚女王》（Victoria Regina）中饰演阿尔伯特亲王[10][11]。1938年涉足电影界，参演《Service de Luxe》，1944年出演《罗娜秘记》之后成名。[12]
他出演的第一部恐怖片是1939年的《伦敦塔》。1960年代，他开始和罗杰·科尔曼合作，出演了许多低成本恐怖片，获得了很大的成功。[13]
1970年代早期，他曾主持BBC的恐怖广播节目《The Price of Fear》，后来又参演了不少电视剧[14]。
他凭借《八月的鲸鱼》（1987）获得独立精神奖最佳配角奖提名，这是他一生得到的唯一一次电影奖提名[15]。他参演的最后一部重要电影作品是《剪刀手爱德华》（1990），期间因肺气肿而不得不削减出场时间。后来在拍摄电视剧《Mystery!》期间，他病情恶化，最终因此息影。1993年10月25日，他因肺癌在UCLA医学中心去世。[16]
艺术
[编辑]1957年，他和妻子玛丽·格兰特捐出90件藏品建立了文森特·普赖斯美术馆，后来又陆续捐出约两千件。[17]
他也是西尔斯百货的艺术顾问，1962年至1971年间，西尔斯百货曾以“文森特·普赖斯美术藏品”（Vincent Price Collection of Fine Art）的名义销售过约五万件复印的名人画作[18][19]。
