律政书记

律政书记[1](英语:law clerk),又称司法书记[2](judicial clerk)、司法助理[3](judicial assistant),指在法庭席前向律师或法官提供意见及协助的人,负责研究法律问题及起草法律意见。[4][5]
律政书记与法律辅助人员及法庭书记为不同概念。在加拿大,“律政书记”有时亦用于指代法律辅助人员,在法庭环境中不宜混淆。
律政书记被认为是法律界最有声望的职业之一,获聘者通常是名校法学院名列前茅的应届毕业生。[6]
英格兰及威尔斯
[编辑]在英格兰及威尔斯,该职位称为司法助理。[7]上诉法院及最高法院皆设有司法助理的职位。[8]最高法院司法助理为全职工作,任期一年。[9]曾有英国最高法院司法助理赴美国最高法院交换一周。[10]
