开手式击鼓
开手式击鼓是一种演奏鼓组的方法，主要在爵士乐和金属音乐中使用。
方法
[编辑]该方法是指在同时演奏脚踏钹（或叠音钹）和军鼓时不会以传统的方式演奏，即是以交叉双手为演奏鼓的基本姿势。[1] 绝对的初学者经常选择这种演奏方式（开手式击鼓），作为他们第一次和自然的击鼓尝试。
许多鼓手尝试后认为使用开手式击鼓时的姿势让他们感到舒适，但他们不会总是使用这种击鼓方法。史蒂夫史密斯(Steve Smith)和迪恩卡斯特罗诺沃(Deen Castronovo)曾经为歌曲“ Don't Stop Believin ”使用开手式击鼓。
许多使用这种风格的鼓手会将他们的叠音钹放在他们的脚踏钹之上，以便更快地过渡到两者的固定音型。
开源和发展
[编辑]在Jim Chapin的书Advanced Techniques for the Modern Drummer[2]和加里·切斯特的著作The New Breed[3]中，首次提出了开手式击鼓。例如在加里·切斯特的The New Breed中，内容强调双手和双腿的独立协调，开手式击鼓正正满足要求。
开始开手式击鼓的第一批鼓手，像Billy Cobham，Lenny White和丹尼斯·威尔森这样的音乐家，他们在20世纪60年代和70年代早期，是因为出于本能（比如丹尼斯·威尔森，他是天生的左撇子）而使用开手式击鼓，因此感觉可以更舒服去控制双手；或者出于实验性质，找到了不必复杂地交叉双手演奏脚踏钹的优点。该技术的许多支持者还指出，使用开手式击鼓能够免去另一个手臂交叉形成的的阻碍，在击打小军鼓时右手可以获得更大范围的移动，这意味著鼓手更容易响亮地击打军鼓的边框。其他人也指出，在演奏时，例如在脚踏钹和叠音钹的过渡之间，因为一只手不必完全抬起和越过另一只手，从而保存了力气。结果，许多独特的鼓手都采用了这种技术。另一个优点是鼓手在演奏脚踏钹时可以同时演奏立地鼓，是经典的击鼓技术无法做到的。
开手式击鼓的专门教材在近年首次出现，例如是在2008年和2011年，分别由Dom Famularo和Claus Hessler撰写的Open Handed Playing vol.1和2便是完全专门教授开手式击鼓的教材。
