巨鸊鷉属（学名：Podilymbus）是䴙䴘目鸊鷉科下的一个属。[2]
命名与分类学
[编辑]本属由法国博物学家勒内-普里梅韦勒·莱松于1831年为斑嘴巨䴙䴘建立，而该物种也因单型而成为该属模式种。[1][3]其属名Podilymbus来自于英国生态学家约翰·莱瑟姆早先命名的鸊鷉属Podiceps。[4]
